Improvements
More Context in Subscription Events
v1.43.0
We’ve enhanced how Meiro captures subscription data from your WhatsApp and Email sign-ups.
You can now attach richer context — such as user IDs, names, interests, or campaign metadata — whenever a new subscriber is created. This gives your customer data deeper meaning and enables you to:
-
Build more precise and insightful audience segments.
-
Link subscriptions more reliably with your CRM or analytics tools.
-
Maintain a unified, consistent data flow without extra configuration.
This enhancement helps your marketing team better understand who subscribes and why, providing deeper insights into user intent and preferences.

Automatically Block Non-WhatsApp Numbers
v1.44.0
WhatsApp campaigns in Meiro are now smarter at handling unreachable numbers.
When a campaign attempts to message a number that isn’t registered on WhatsApp, Meiro will now automatically detect this and mark the number as blocked for the WhatsApp channel.
This prevents repeated delivery failures, reduces message waste, and keeps your contact database cleaner and more accurate.
What’s new
-
Meiro now detects undelivered messages caused by the reason “Recipient not registered on WhatsApp” (131026).
-
These events are now mapped to a new system event:
wa_blockedin CDP. -
The WhatsApp channel attribute is automatically set to
blocked = true, preventing further WhatsApp messages from being sent to that number. -
Users can manually unblock the number later if the contact registers on WhatsApp.
Use case
If a campaign message fails because the recipient isn’t on WhatsApp, Meiro automatically flags the number as blocked.
Future WhatsApp campaigns will skip that contact, ensuring delivery metrics reflect only reachable users.

Manual block & unblock for WhatsApp messaging
You can now manually block or unblock a phone number in the WhatsApp Subscription Status section of a customer profile. This is useful when a customer installs WhatsApp later and wants to receive messages again.
This update provides you with the same level of control you already have for email, making it easier to manage individual delivery preferences and support customer requests more efficiently.
Journey Canvas: More Precise and Independent A/B Splitting
v1.44.0
We’ve improved how A/B Split nodes work in Journey Canvas to ensure audience distribution is accurate and consistent. Each split now respects the percentage you configure independently—even in complex, multi-step journeys.
This enhancement makes experimentation more reliable and ensures your variants receive the audience size you expect every time.
Easier access to your full Activation History
v1.44.0
Activation History now shows more than just the most recent activations. You can load earlier entries by clicking “Show more”, making it much easier to review campaign activity from earlier in the day or previous days.
This improvement helps you monitor campaign behavior more effectively and ensures important context is always within reach.
