Licensing for cloud marketplace deployments
Meiro deployments purchased through supported cloud marketplaces use automatic license verification. This confirms that the marketplace subscription associated with the deployment remains active. Customers do not normally need to enter or manage a separate license key.
How verification works
Meiro periodically verifies the deployment’s license with the cloud marketplace. During normal operation, this happens automatically and requires no action from users.
The verification process does not access or transmit customer profiles, events, or other business data stored in Meiro.
Temporary verification problems
A license may occasionally be unverifiable because of a temporary connection problem, marketplace service interruption, or subscription issue. When this happens, Meiro allows a grace period during which users can continue accessing the application normally.
If the license remains unverifiable after the grace period:
- New sign-ins are temporarily unavailable.
- Existing sessions cannot be renewed after they expire.
- Stored data is not deleted.
- Background data processing and scheduled workloads are not stopped by the licensing check.
Normal access is restored after the license is successfully verified again.
Resolving a licensing issue
If Meiro reports that it cannot verify the license:
- Confirm that the cloud marketplace subscription is active.
- Check that the deployment can connect to the marketplace’s licensing service.
- Contact Meiro Support if the problem continues.
When contacting support, include the deployment name and any licensing message displayed on the sign-in page.
