How to build segments of customers

Start with Smart Segments
Smart Segments are the most common segments ready and set to use. Is possible to copy a smart segment and edit it further, export it, see it's customer profiles or segment insights.
Simply go to the Smart Segments tab and start browsing through.

Go to the Segments tab to create segments of customers.
Create a segment |
A segment is a groups of customers with the same attributes (characteristics). Start by clicking on the Create Segment button. |
Choose conditions |
Each attribute is defined by a specific condition that narrows the segment result. Start adding conditions by clicking on the Add Condition button. Search for attributes from the drop-down list, add conditions to further narrow your search. Click on the Save Conditions button to apply your changes.

Segmentation Summary |
See summary of your segment in a natural language. |
Export segment |
Choose your preferred export destination, export your segment or schedule an export. Exported data will be only for customers that have matching mandatory attributes defined for export to these destinations. In the example below, 57 customers will be exported to CSV file out of all segmented customers. Remember: It is possible to set the export only for the Learn more: about exporting segments from these articles. |
Customer profiles |
The segment preview shows the preview of segmented customer profiles. Click on an individual customer to reveal more details. Learn more: To learn more about customer profiles from this article. |
Insights tab |
The Insights tab shows a set of insights predefined by analysts. Insights contain attributes and conditions specifically calculated for the segmented audience. Learn more: Learn more about insights here. |
Manage segments with tags |
Segments can be managed and organized in the Segments tab with a system of customizable tags. |
