Web banners & personalization of website content

CreatePersonalization/ Web Banners tab enables creating and setting rules to display web banners on the website. 

The web banners feature allows you to create popup banners and display them to the users of your website.

Web banners are a powerful feature that as soon as it is set will be displayed on the website. Therefore to make sure it is set correctly 

Prerequisites to work with web banners are:

  • The Meiro Events SDK is enabled on the website for a chosen audience of customers. Rules defined for each audience are customizable, as well asand the design of the web banner.  

    Prerequisites: Meiro Events setinstance onis theconnected website,to Meiro Business Explorer.

  • settingsThe feature is enabled in theMeiro AdministrationBusiness tab.Explorer by your administrator.

Both are usually managedset by the Meiro team.

Common use cases

Acquisition to a club or membership

Target customers that you value the most with club membership e.g. after purchase of a particular set of products or view of a certain website content.

Assisted conversion

Target customers: with assigned, but not redeemed vouchers, that are about to abandon the shopping basket.

Collect data about customers

Target customers that view the website for a particular time and prompt data collection e.g. shopping basket with newsletter promotion and email collections.

Sent form to fill for customers that frequently buy baby products, to collect more data about the baby in order to be able to send customized offers.  

Display scheduled demo messages when a customer is on a particular part of the website.

Target customers with a personalized message e.g. for customers that ordered and status of their order is in progress, send a message to check their order status.

Target customers that are in a particular location and promote particular products.

Target customers that are already in the loyalty club, prompt checking how many points they have.
